The RSPB with Kent County Council and the National Rivers Authority has produced an Information and Activity Pack for Teachers and Pupils called Exploring the North Kent Marshes'. Split into three large booklets, they cover Marshland Wildlife, How the Marshes were Used, and The Marshland Landscape.

They contain a wealth of information that we hope to have online soon. In the meantime, teachers can order a free copy of the pack by ringing the RSPB on 01273 775333.

Topics in the booklets include such varied things as 'Marshland Plants', 'Industry and the Marshes', 'The Marshes at War', 'Geology of the Marshes' and 'Foraging Fishing and Farming on the Marshes'.
